Huntington, NY: Huntington Councilwoman Theresa Mari and Councilwoman Jennifer Hebert will co-sponsor the Town of Huntington’s Annual “Family Earth Day” celebration at the beautiful Elwood Park (309 Cuba Hill Road, Elwood, NY).
This FREE family friendly event festivities will include environmental awareness, hands-on learning, and outdoor fun. Presented in partnership with Reworld, 1653 Foundation, Huntington Hospital Northwell Health, and the Huntington Chamber of Commerce, the celebration promises something for everyone.
Families can look forward to a lively lineup of activities including a marine touch tank, animal exhibits, composting demonstrations, seed planting, beekeeping demonstrations, arts and crafts, face painting, live music, and pet adoptions. Guests can also take home free tree saplings (while supplies last) and explore interactive exhibits hosted by various Town departments.

In addition to the festivities, residents can take advantage of convenient on-site services:
Upon arrival, attendees will receive a door prize ticket for exciting giveaways, including electric-powered lawn equipment (Courtesy of Home Depot, Huntington), a rain barrel, sports tickets (LI Ducks), Yeti Cooler (Courtesy of Reworld) and other gifts courtesy of local Huntington businesses.
