New York: Rasā Arts presented an evocative evening of Indian classical music and dance titled “Divinity Within: From Form to Freedom”, exploring devotion, balance, and the enduring power of the feminine spirit at the Puffin Cultural Forum, Teaneck, New Jersey, on November 1, 2025.

The performance featured vocalist Radhika Krishnaraj and dancer Sneha Ramachandran, with Sameth Sitaram on violin and Prakash Rao on mridangam.

The program opened with Shrothaswini Pushpanjali, a flowing invocation to the divine, followed by Pari Pari Ne Paadame, an expressive offering to Lord Ganesha. Ardhanareeshwaram reflected the unity of Shiva and Shakti, a meditation on the harmony between masculine and feminine energies.

A highlight of the evening, Maathe Malayadwaja, celebrated the strength, resilience, and grace of womanhood. Through music and movement, it reimagined the mythic feminine as a timeless symbol of empowerment, not only as a destroyer of darkness but as the light that uplifts and transforms.

The concert concluded with The Spirit of Kalyani, a medley of beloved compositions that evoked devotion, joy, and peace.

Rasā Arts, based in New Jersey and founded by Radhika Krishnaraj and Sneha Ramachandran, is dedicated to bringing Indian classical art to global audiences through performances that merge tradition with contemporary expression.
