India Day Parade in Hicksville, Long Island, New York was celebrated with great enthusiasm, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of India and the vibrancy of the Indian-American community.
Consul Piyush Singh attended the event and underlined the significance of such occasions in fostering closer cultural ties and strengthening bonds with the Indian-American community. New York State Senator Steven D. Rhoads and other distinguished elected representatives also graced the occasion.

India in New York in collaboration with the Indian Heritage & Cultural Association (NJ), organized the 10th edition of Natya Darpan – a multilingual short play festival in New Jersey.

A grand celebration of Indian heritage, diversity, and community spirit, the Festival of India lit up Buffalo, NY. Hosted by the India Association of Buffalo, the event brought together hundreds of Indian Americans and friends of India for a vibrant day of color, music, and tradition. Also present on the occasion was NY State Senator Sean Ryan, whose participation highlighted the strong bonds of friendship and growing people-to-people ties between India and the USA. A spirited parade of community organizations & cultural groups filled the street with pride, showcasing the unity and rich traditions of the Indian diaspora. New York City Mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo visited BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Flushing.
