One World Family: 4th World Culture Festival celebrates unity in diversity

The grand culmination of the 4th World Culture Festival witnessed waves of joy and celebration as a sea of humanity came together in the spirit of one world, one family. Interfaith prayers, inspiring speeches, and eclectic performances marked the three-day fiesta held in Washington, DC. 

The mega event saw participation from over a million people from 180 countries in a colorful celebration and meditation for a “Stress Free World.”

 

More than 17,000 diverse cultural artists, entertainers, and speakers, took to the largest stage ever built in the nation’s capital from Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 1.  

 

 

 

 

The event marked the culmination of 42 years of global service by Art of Living founder and world-renowned humanitarian Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. 

 

 

 

 

The full lineup included over 50 performance groups representing an array of human cultural art forms from around the globe. The program featured a plethora of U.S.-based artists presenting music, dance, and performance art. Prominent personalities from the world over graced the event in a major show of strength of unity in diversity!
