Sadhvi Siddhali Shree becomes first Jain Sadhvi to give a TEDx talk

Siddhayatan Tirth is proud to share with the Indian community that Sadhvi Siddhali Shree has become the first Jain Sadhvi to speak on the prestigious TEDx stage.

In her inspiring talk, she shares her personal and spiritual journey from serving as an Army Combat Medic in the Iraq War to becoming a Jain Sadhvi while crediting her guru, Acharya Shree Yogeesh, for his support and inspiration during her deployment. After being invited to speak at TEDxCUNY (New York), she used the opportunity to share non-violence with the world and the Jain teachings that transformed her life. Specifically, she promoted non-violence, vegetarianism, friendship with all living beings, anekantvad, and self-analysis. Her wish is to inspire non-Indians to consider the Jain way of life and take up non-violence.
Her TEDx talk has since received over 117k+ views.

Determined to bring about positive change and to help those who have suffered, she has directed and produced two award-winning documentaries: Stopping Traffic: The Movement to End Sex Trafficking and Surviving Sex Trafficking.
