India Day in Tristate

Brimming with color, energy, and pride, the 4th International India Day Parade — organized by the Foundation of Indian-Americans in New England (FIA- New England)— brought together the Indian-American community, community leaders, and friends of India at the historic Boston Harbor to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of India. 

Consul Piyush Singh joined the festivities, where colorful floats, captivating cultural performances, and spirited patriotic displays showcased the community’s deep-rooted connection to India’s heritage and its vibrant contributions to America’s cultural mosaic.

Consul Bijender Kumar joined the Indian American Seniors Association of Morris County in celebrating the 79th Independence Day of India. The event, graced by Mayor James Barberio, brought together Indian-Americans from across the region to honor India’s freedom and shared democratic values. A vibrant cultural program, featuring music, dance, and patriotic performances, reflected the community’s enduring ties to India’s heritage while celebrating its contributions to the diverse fabric of American society.
