The India Association of Nashville organized the India Parade on India’s 79th Independence Day, showcasing the vibrant colors, heritage, and traditions of India through downtown Nashville. During the event, participants from various Indian diaspora associations in traditional attire carried colorful flags, spreading cultural pride and unity. Consul General noted that the event strengthens bonds within the Indian community and fosters cultural exchange with the local community.

On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of India, the Indian Consulate in Atlanta is illuminated in the colors of theTiranga, symbolizing the nation’s unity, sacrifice, and pride. The Consulate encourages members of the Indian diaspora to participate in the Government of India’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by hoisting the National Flag at their homes, reaffirming our shared commitment to the values it represents, and contributing to the progress and development of a strong and vibrant India.
