Navy Pier Global Connections in partnership with ComEd and Delhi Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International brought Holi, the Indian Festival of Spring, to Chicago. The event was attended by more than 5000 people. “It is so meaningful to the Indian diaspora that Mayor Brandon Johnson, Lt.Governor Juliana Stratton, Comptroller Susana A Mendoza, Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias, and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle joined to recognize how all communities make a strong fabric for Chicago,” Smita Shah, chairman, Delhi Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International noted in her Facebook post.
