The United States marked its historic 250th Independence Day on Saturday (July 4) with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from world leaders, who hailed the nation's enduring commitment to democracy, freedom, innovation, and global leadership.
Heads of state and government from across the world extended warm wishes to the American people, recognizing the country's influence in shaping global politics, science, technology, and economic progress over the past two and a half centuries.
Among those offering tributes were leaders from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Indo-Pacific, many of whom highlighted the importance of their countries' longstanding partnerships with the United States.
