'Adolescence' dominates Golden Globes with 4 wins

The psychological crime drama series 'Adolescence' emerged as one of the biggest winners at the Golden Globes 2026, capping off a remarkable awards season run. The 83rd edition of the prestigious awards in Los Angeles officially kicked off with celebrities arriving in style, adding sparkle to the much-awaited evening.

Directed by Philip Barantini, 'Adolescence' has received widespread praise for its gripping storytelling, technical brilliance, and powerful performances. The series won Best Limited or Anthology Series or Television Film, while Stephen Graham took home Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film. Owen Cooper won Best Supporting Actor – Series, Miniseries or Television Film, and Erin Doherty bagged Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film.

The four-part series follows the disturbing story of a 13-year-old schoolboy, Jamie Miller, who is arrested after the murder of a girl from his school. One of the show’s most talked-about aspects is its unique filmmaking style, with each episode shot in a single continuous take. The film stars Stephen Graham, Ashley Walters, Faye Marsay, Mark Stanley, Christine Tremarco, Owen Cooper, Amelie Pease, Hannah Walters, Jo Hartley, and others.

Other major honors

The 83rd Golden Globes honors concluded, with Chloe Zhao’s 'Hamnet' and 'The Pitt' dominating the night. 'Hamnet' claimed Best Picture, while 'The Pitt' secured the award for Best Drama.

The Golden Globe 2026 for Best Actor went to Wagner Moura for his powerful performance in 'The Secret Agent', while the Best Actress award was claimed by Jessi Buckley for her role in 'Hamnet'.

KPop Demon Hunters won two awards at the Golden Globes - Best Animated Film and Best Original Song. The film has been a viral success and a box office hit thanks to chart-topping songs, emotional storytelling, representation and Gen Z appeal.

All eyes on Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra turned heads at the Golden Globe Awards 2026, as she arrived in a stunning blue metallic gown. She was accompanied by her husband, Nick Jonas, who perfectly complemented her look in a classic black striped tuxedo.

Priyanka was among the presenters at this year’s Golden Globes, joining a star-studded lineup that included Julia Roberts, Miley Cyrus, Pamela Anderson, Snoop Dogg, Queen Latifah, Colman Domingo, and Zoe Kravitz, among others.

On the work front, Priyanka will be next seen in the American swashbuckler action-thriller 'The Bluff'.
