Priyanka Chopra made a striking appearance at the 98th Academy Awards as she took the stage to present the award for Best International Feature Film along with Spanish actor Javier Bardem.
Bardem, sporting a "No to War" pin on his lapel, voiced his support. He said, "No to war and Free Palestine." His words were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience as Priyanka stood by his side. The duo then handed the award to the Norwegian entry, 'Sentimental Value'.
Chopra turned heads in a strapless white gown, which featured ruched detailing and a thigh-high slit. The elegant look, paired with statement diamond jewellery and soft waves, gave the moment a classic red-carpet feel as she walked on stage to present one of the evening’s major awards.
While India’s official submission 'Homebound' did not secure a nomination in the international feature category this year, Chopra’s presence on stage ensured that an Indian star was part of the global spotlight on Hollywood’s biggest night.
