In a historic first, the Tathagata holy sacred relics of Lord Buddha departed from Delhi and reached the Union Territory of Ladakh for public exposition from May 1-14, marking the auspicious occasion of Vesak Buddha Purnima. The relics represent the living presence of Lord Buddha and his universal teachings.
