Actor Saif Ali Khan made his first official public appearance this week after the knife attack last month. The actor was joined by director Siddharth Anand and actor Jaideep Ahlawat - the team of his upcoming film, 'Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins'. Dressed in a pair of blue denim, styled with a denim shirt, the actor stayed away from discussing the attack or the injury. He appeared at the event with a black cast on his left hand and a bandage on his neck.
He began by expressing his happiness about attending the event. "It feels very nice standing here in front of you. I am very excited about this movie. Siddharth and I have been talking about his film for a long time. I have always wanted to do a heist film. I couldn't have asked for a better co-star."
The 54-year-old was attacked last month by an intruder at his Mumbai residence. He suffered multiple injuries to his neck, back and arm after getting stabbed around six times with a knife. The actor took an auto to the hospital while his eight-year-old son, Taimur Ali Khan, accompanied him.
In 'Jewel Thief', the actor plays the role of a stylish conman who is hired by a 'powerful criminal lord' to steal 'the world's most elusive diamond' - The African Red Sun.
