Ranveer Singh’s political action thriller 'Dhurandhar' has landed in legal trouble in Pakistan after a petition was filed in a Karachi district court against the film’s makers over its trailer.
Applicant Mohammad Amir argued that the movie's trailer depicted the PPP (Pakistan People's Party) as sympathetic to terrorists, called Lyari a "terrorist war zone," and unlawfully used pictures of the party flag and former PPP chairperson.
Additionally, he claimed that pictures of the late former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, the party's flag, and images from rallies were used in the film without any legal authorization, and that the party's portrayal as being sympathetic to terrorists was untrue, manufactured, and intended to incite animosity toward the PPP, its leadership, and its supporters.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, 'Dhurandhar' features Ranveer Singh in the central role of Hamza Ali, an undercover operative planted inside the Pakistani mafia by IB chief Ajay Sanyal (R Madhavan).

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon shared the poster of' Mera Layari and wrote, "Indian movie Dhurandhar is yet another example of negative propaganda by the Indian film industry against Pakistan, especially targeting Lyari.
