Director Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious adaptation of the 'Ramayana' has added two major Hollywood action specialists to its creative team, further raising expectations around what is already being billed as one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious projects. Action choreographers Guy Norris and Terry Notary have come on board to design the film’s large-scale action and movement sequences.

Norris is best known for his work on blockbuster films such as 'Mad Max: Fury Road', 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,' and 'The Suicide Squad'. Notary, meanwhile, has earned acclaim for his performance-capture and movement work on franchises including 'Planet of the Apes' and 'The Avengers'.

Their involvement is expected to bring a global-scale approach to the film’s battle sequences and action choreography. The two-part epic features an ensemble cast led by Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman.

Produced by Prime Focus Studios in association with DNEG and Monster Mind Creations, the film is being mounted on a massive scale with extensive visual effects and international talent working behind the scenes.
