New York: Dr Samin Sharma, Director of Interventional Cardiology at Mount Sinai Heart, has been honored with the Indo-American Arts Council's (IAAC) prestigious 2024 Trailblazer Award for his exceptional contributions to the field of medicine and his pioneering advancements in interventional cardiology.
Celebrating Dr Sharma's unwavering pride in his roots, his community, and his culture, the award presentation took place at the IAAC Renaissance Gala on November 10th, at International House in New York City.
Dr Sharma is internationally renowned for his clinical excellence, pioneering research, and dedication to advancing cardiovascular care. Throughout his career at Mount Sinai, he has performed over 25,000 coronary interventions, maintaining one of the highest success rates in complex cases. His commitment to patient care and medical innovation has set new standards in interventional cardiology.
