Madhuban, Jharkhand: A grand celebration of the profoundly significant 'Jaineshwari Diksha Mahotsav' is being held at Gunayatan, located in the holy pilgrimage site of Shri Sammed Shikharji. Organized under the divine presence of Muni Shri 108 Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj, the event has drawn thousands of devotees from across India and abroad, filling the atmosphere with deep devotion and spiritual energy.

Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji is a renowned saint in the tradition of Acharya Shri 108 Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj. Through his discourses and various social initiatives, he consistently spreads the message of self-awakening, non-violence, and self-restraint.

Gunayatan: A Living Center for the Soul’s Journey

Gunayatan is not merely a pilgrimage site but a living center for the soul’s journey toward the Supreme. According to Jain philosophy, every soul possesses infinite power. As the layers of 'Karma' are shed, these powers manifest, and the soul moves toward its purest form. This spiritual progression is explained through the concept of 'Gunasthan' (stages of spiritual development).

To make this philosophy a tangible experience, the 'Gunayatan Experience Center' has been established. Here, the 14 'Gunasthans' of Jain philosophy are presented in an artistic and impactful manner, allowing seekers to understand and feel the soul's inner journey. The grand stone temple, built in the *Panchayatan* style with exquisite craftsmanship, represents a magnificent confluence of Indian architecture and spirituality.

The Significance of Diksha

The highlight of this festival is the 'Jaineshwari Diksha', where initiates completely renounce their homes, families, and all worldly ties to embrace the life of an ascetic. This lifestyle is rooted in the principles of non-violence (Ahimsa), truth (Satya), and non-attachment (Aparigraha), marking a vital step toward liberation (Moksha).

The festivities include emotional and spiritual rituals such as 'Binoli' and 'Godha Bharai'.

Binoli: Much like a groom is led in a wedding procession, the initiates are seated on a chariot for a grand procession, symbolizing their imminent transition into sainthood.

Godha Bharai: Just as a traditional shower/ritual is held for a bride's prosperity, the 'Godha Bharai' for a monk is performed with the sentiment that they may never lack in devotion or pure sustenance (Aahar).

A Global Celebration

A magnificent procession was held to welcome the saintly union, including Muni Shri 108 Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj and Muni Shri Sandhan Sagar Maharaj, amidst chanting, 'Aarti', and cheers of devotion.

A unique feature of this event is the active participation of children, parents, and volunteers from various countries via the 'Global Pramanik Pathshala', an initiative blessed by Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji. Through Mehndi ceremonies and diverse cultural programs, this 'Diksha Mahotsav' is being celebrated with global joy.

A Message of Awakening

In his address, Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj stated:

"Gunayatan is a symbol of the soul’s journey to the Divine. It is not just a pilgrimage, but a living experience of self-awakening where religion, philosophy, and science beautifully converge."

Beyond spirituality, Gunayatan is a powerful center for social service, operating initiatives in free healthcare, women’s empowerment, education, and rural development.

This 'Diksha Mahotsav' is more than a religious event; it is a powerful message inspiring self-realization, sacrifice, and inner peace, guiding us to transform our outward journey into an internal spiritual practice.
