'We struck India from Red Fort to Kashmir': Pakistan leader

Wednesday, 19 Nov, 2025

Islamabad: Pakistani leader Chaudhry Anwarul Haq has claimed that the country had struck India “from the Red Fort to the forests of Kashmir". His remarks referenced a high-intensity blast from a slow-moving car that ripped through the Red Fort metro station in Delhi on November 10 and killed at least 15 people.

The remarks on Kashmir’s forests mentioned the barbaric terror attack in Pahalgam, in which 26 tourists were gunned down by Pakistan-linked terrorists.

Haq, who was ousted by a no-confidence vote as the Prime Minister of the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, made a statement in the PoK Assembly this week, where he could be heard saying, “I had earlier said that if you (India) keep bleeding Balochistan, we will strike India from Red Fort to the forests of Kashmir, and our Shaheens have done it. They still can’t count the bodies."

Haq’s remarks are being viewed as a confirmation of India’s claims that Pakistan’s security agencies are operating closely with terror groups that are responsible for violent attacks on India.

Pakistan has repeatedly blamed India for the unrest in Balochistan to hide its economic mess and shift attention from fomenting cross-border terrorism. New Delhi has vehemently rejected Islamabad's claims.

This is not the first time that a Pakistani politician has spilled the beans on Islamabad's role in fomenting cross-border terrorism. Recently, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Sohail Afridi exposed the Pakistan government's terror policy, which he said benefits from "fake" terrorist attacks in the province. He accused Islamabad of "manufacturing terrorism" for its political agenda.
