Wilmington: The American Telugu Association (ATA), in collaboration with the Delaware Valley ATA team, successfully hosted its Board Meeting and fundraising events recently at the DoubleTree by Hilton Wilmington.

The two-day event brought together community leaders, trustees, volunteers, donors, and supporters for a vibrant gathering focused on unity, service, and community engagement.

Under the leadership of ATA President Jayanth Challa, the organization continues to emphasize inclusivity, collaboration, and service-oriented initiatives.

The celebrations began on May 15 with a grand dinner hosted at Bawarchi, attended by nearly 200 guests. On May 16, the Board Meeting resumed with active participation from the Board of Trustees, while various conference committees shared updates and preparations for the upcoming ATA 19th Conference and Youth Convention, scheduled for July 31 to August 2, 2026, in Baltimore.

ATA Delaware also hosted a major fundraising event that attracted nearly 500 participants. Organizers said the gathering showcased the strong support and unity within the Delaware and Pennsylvania Telugu communities. Fundraising pledges totaled approximately $350,000, reflecting continued backing for ATA’s programs and future initiatives.

The Delaware Valley ATA team, led by former ATA President Parmesh Bheemreddy, Board of Trustees Raju Kakkerla, and local coordinators, expressed gratitude to volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community partners for helping make the events successful.
