Dr Deep Singh highlighted that the Gatka Federation UK has successfully organized the National Gatka Championships for the past 11 years. The upcoming 12th National Championship will be held in collaboration with Gurdwara Singh Sabha London (East) and SSLE Sports Club at Orchard Playing Fields, Goodmayes Lane, IG3 9PW.

He emphasized that the event not only shows athletic excellence but also strengthens cultural identity and community pride.

“Tan Dhesi’s tireless work ensures that Gatka continues to thrive while upholding its spiritual and historical significance,” Fresno said. “These championships are more than competitions—they are living reminders of the values of courage, self-control, and discipline that Gatka instills.”
