The South Asian Times honored the most eminent oncologist in the world Dr Jatin Shah as Person of the Year 2025 and presented him with a crystal plaque at an elegant gala function at Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury, Long Island, New York, on Friday, January 9, 2026, in the presence of highly distinguished members of the Indian‑American community.
Dr Shah (center) is joined by Kamlesh Mehta, Chairman of Forsythe Multimedia Group, and Publisher of The South Asian Times, along with Padma Bhushan Sant Singh Chatwal, and Padma Shri recipients Dr Sudhir Parikh and Dr Dattatreyudu Nori. The occasion also saw the unveiling of the special edition of The South Asian Times (inset), featuring Dr Shah as Person of the Year 2025.
