New Delhi, India: In a significant recognition of engineering excellence and leadership, Dr. Bishnujee Singh has been conferred the “Best Senior Professional Engineer Award” in the Outstanding Senior Professional Engineering - Aeronautical Engineering at the distinguished Eminent Engineers Award Ceremony 2026, organized by the Engineering Council of India in New Delhi.
The annual awards ceremony, known for celebrating outstanding contributions across engineering disciplines, brought together leading professionals, policymakers, and academics from across the country. Dr. Singh’s recognition reflects decades of impactful work in engineering systems, certification, and leadership within complex technical environments.

Dr. Singh has built a reputation for his multidisciplinary expertise spanning mechanical, structural, and aerospace-related systems. His contributions to certification engineering, regulatory compliance, and innovation in engineering management have positioned him as a respected figure both in industry and academia. He has been responsible for the structural engineering design development of the First Boeing 777-300ER and 777-200LR plane programs.Boeing 777-300ER has been rated as one of the safest planes in Aviation history. Dr Bishnujee Singh has also been featured in the Limca Book of Records as the First Chartered Scientist in Aviation, through the Royal Aeronautical Society with the Science Council, United Kingdom.
