After a successful run across North America, Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia, and the United Kingdom, the Sitar for Mental Health India Tour 2026 by critically acclaimed sitarist and neo-classical music artist Rishab Rikhiram Sharma concluded recently with a landmark finale on home turf, marking one of the most significant milestones in India’s experiential live music industry.

Spanning Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, New Delhi, and Kolkata, the tour recorded an unprecedented ₹50+ crore in revenue and over 1 lakh cumulative footfall, establishing a brand-new benchmark for spiritual live music formats in India. It also signals the growing mainstream acceptance and resurgence of neo-classical music experiences within the country’s evolving cultural landscape.

Produced by Team Innovation in association with District by Zomato, the tour has emerged as a defining cultural movement, bridging Indian classical music with wellness-driven experiential entertainment, a press note read.

“This tour was never just about scale; it was about reshaping perception. Alongside Rishab Rikhiram Sharma, we aimed to demonstrate that Indian neoclassical and spiritual live concert experiences can command stadium-level demand when presented through a contemporary, emotionally resonant lens, led by a trailblazing artist who truly embodies that vision," Mohit Bijlani, Co-Founder of Team Innovation, said.

The tour attracted a distinguished audience across its cities, bringing together prominent figures from the worlds of cinema, business, and culture, including Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, actors Tara Sutaria, Mrunal Thakur, and Deepika Padukone, Soha Ali Khan, Sayani Gupta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sobhita Dhulipala, and others.

The musical narrative of the tour was equally distinctive, featuring contemporary reinterpretations of iconic works such as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s ‘Man Atkeya Beparwah De Naal,’ Rabindranath Tagore’s ‘Ekla Cholo Re,’ Asha Bhosle’s ‘Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar,’ alongside devotional compositions.
