Actor Prabhas’ latest film, the epic dystopian sci-fi actioner 'Kalki 2898 AD' has earned Rs 555 crore globally within just four days of its release on Jun 27, with Rs 115 crore coming from the film’s Hindi version.

The makers of the Nag Ashwin directorial announced on the X platform: "555 CRORES & counting… The BIGGEST FORCES are dominating the GLOBAL BOX OFFICE, show no signs of slowing down". Calling the film a "box office monster", trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported that 'Kalki 2898 AD' saw a massive jump on June 30.

“Numbers speak louder than words… #Kalki2898AD roars, has a rocking 4-day *extended* weekend… Look at the day-wise trends, especially the massive jump on Day 4 [June 30]… Just one word: TERRIFIC… This one’s a BOXOFFICE MONSTER. Let the truth be told: #Kalki2898AD has found acceptance by moviegoers, else the numbers would’ve crashed and crumbled on Day 2 [June 28] itself, which was a working day… It didn’t".

'Kalki...' has also made history by becoming the first Indian film to hit $11 million (approximately Rs 90.2 crore) in its first weekend in North America. The film has also emerged as the highest-earning Telugu film in Canada. According to Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated Rs 85 crore in India on June 30, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 302 crore. This achievement surpasses Shah Rukh Khan’s 'Jawan', which minted Rs 286 crore in the same timeframe. 'Jawan' was the highest-grossing Indian film of 2023.

The Telugu version of 'Kalki 2898 AD' has been the most significant contributor to the film’s total box office collection.
