FIFA fever captures millions, NYC ready for final

With 48 teams and 104 matches to be played across the US, Canada, and Mexico, the FIFA World Cup 2026 got off to an electrifying start this week. Stating that the 'World Cup belongs to New Yorkers', Mayor Zohran Mamdani, along with Governor Kathy Hochul, announced a massive, free watch party in Central Park for the finals on July 19.
