Jenifer Rajkumar winning with voters 55+, strong with voters 40-54 says citywide poll

A citywide poll conducted by United New Yorkers for Progress, consisting of landline calls and text messages linking to an online survey, yielded 1,996 respondents from May 7- May 11, 2025.

United New Yorkers for Progress is an Independent Expenditure Committee supporting Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar's candidacy for New York City Public Advocate. Poll respondents are likely Democratic voters, defined as Democrats who have voted in 2 out of 4 recent Democratic primaries, excluding presidential primaries.

“The results of this extensive poll are very encouraging and show a clear winning path forward for Assemblywoman Rajkumar,” said Michael Tobman, who heads the IE. “We wanted a very large sample testing the qualifications and personalities of the candidates in this race so as to better understand this complicated moment in New York City government and politics,” Tobman added.

The margin of error for this poll is 2.24%.
