India Day Parade in Queens, New York, on August 16, 2025, organized by FBIMA (Floral Park Bellerose Indian Merchant Association). It was their 10th Parade. It started at 268th Street and ended on 249th Street, followed by cultural programs.
The Grand Marshal was actress Sejal Sharma, President of FBIMA Dincil George, and Parade Chairman Koshy Thomas. Several dignitaries attended the parade, namely NY Assemblyman Ed Braunstein, NY Assemblywoman Jennifer Rajkumar, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., Counsel Tsewang Gyalston, Clerk Srivastava, Mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa, and Zohran Mamdani. The NYC Desi Police band and police on horses marched in the parade.
