SRLC-USA Gala raises over $1.2 M to educate under served children in Gujarat

Anaheim Hills, CA: An unforgettable evening of compassion unfolded at the Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care USA (SRLC-USA) Gala, held at the Anaheim Hills Golf Club. The event united hundreds of community leaders and philanthropists, raising over $1.2 million to support education for underserved children in Gujarat, India. This year’s gala was focused on SRLC’s Educational Care activities.  

A new hallmark project was unveiled - the Shrimad Rajchandra Sarvamangal University, an upcoming campus where students will be nurtured to bloom through bespoke, holistic learning. The event was emceed by Biren Mehta, SRLC USA Trustee. He extended a warm welcome to all attendees, inviting Manubhai & Rikaben Shah, Drs. Dakshaben and Sudhirbhai Kapadia, Drs. Maheshbhai and Jayshreeben Vyas, Dr. Bipin and Harshaben Patadia, Dr. Nitin Shah, Dr. Arvind Mehta, Jigar and Rashmi Shah, Jagdishbhai and Ushaben Purohit, Naliniben Solanki, Dilipbhai and Sushamaben Parekh, Sidhharth and Priti Shah, Ajaybhai and Binaben Sheth, and Mahesh and Usha Wadher on stage for the ceremonial lamp lighting.

Dr. Chintan Mehta, SRLC USA Trustee, gave an engaging and passionate presentation about various initiatives of SRLC, highlighting the vast array of Educational Care projects operating alongside the upcoming University. The evening reflected the spirit of compassion in action, igniting hearts with hope and generosity. The highlight of the night was an extraordinary and emotional performance by Sparsh Shah, a globally celebrated musician and motivational speaker. His message moved the audience deeply, reminding everyone that giving uplifts not just the receiver, but transforms the giver. His inspiring words and music created a profound impact that will be remembered for years to come. 

Manubhai and Rikaben Shah, CEO Emeritus, MSI and Chief Giving Officers of the Sarva Mangal Family Trust and Shah Happiness Foundation, also delivered a moving address on the 4 C’s - the guiding focus of their mission: 1) Catalyst - Accelerating change, not waiting for it 2) Catapult - Elevating partners to reach farther than imagined 3) Contagious - Making impact visible and inspiring 4) Change - Shifting from sympathy to system fast-tracking Their message emphasized transforming intention into measurable action, innovation, and creating self-reliant communities through seed funding, not lifelong dependency. The gala concluded with a joyful dinner reception, heartfelt camaraderie, and a shared commitment to continue serving humanity through education and compassion.  

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care (SRLC) is a global social impact organization of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, inspired by Shrimad Rajchandraji and guided by Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji.
