A major milestone for the India–US tech corridor

New York: The Indian Consulate in New York hosted the launch of the NASSCOM US CEO Forum — a strategic platform to strengthen cross-border technology collaboration — reaffirming India’s position as a trusted technology and innovation partner. 

NYC Mayor Eric Adams graced the occasion and reaffirmed NYC’s commitment to strengthening ties with India’s thriving innovation ecosystem. 

Rajesh Nambiar, President of Nasscom, emphasized how the Forum will serve as a platform to foster innovative collaboration in frontier technologies. 

Ravi Kumar, Chair of the CEO Forum and CEO of Cognizant, noted that we are at the cusp of a new tech era driven by AI and deep tech, and this Forum will act as a vital bridge to navigate that transformation and unlock shared opportunities. 

Ambassador Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, Consul General, highlighted the strong US–India IT partnership and how it can contribute toward achieving the target of US$500B in bilateral trade by 2030. 

The launch of the NASSCOM US CEO Forum at India in New York brought together leaders from tech, policy, and industry to advance the India–US technology partnership. 

Strategic Techscape: India, the US, and the New Global Order featured Michael Kugelman, Senior Fellow at the Asia Pacific Foundation; Lisa Curtis, Director of the Indo‑Pacific Security Program at CNAS; and Amit Chadha, CEO & MD of L&T Technology Services. 

AI & Emerging Tech: Unlocking Enterprise Value through US–India Collaboration brought together Kamal Ahluwalia, CEO of Resilinc; Neel Chopdekar, SVP & COO at Cigna Technology; Jason Oxman, President & CEO of the Information Technology Industry Council; and Sandeep Kalra, CEO of Persistent Systems. 

John Boccuzzi, Jr., President of ISG Research, delivered a keynote on “What Will Define Tech Leadership by 2030?” where he discussed how generative AI, digital ecosystems, and cross-border collaboration are reshaping global business.
