Wednesday, 10 Sep, 2025

The Asian American Bar Association of New York (“AABANY”) is proud to announce that the 2026 applications for the Don H. Liu Scholars Program (“Program”) are now open.  The Program was founded in 2014 by two past presidents of AABANY and seeks to identify and cultivate future leaders in the legal community to address the single most important reality facing diverse professionals today: the barrier to advancement.

This year, the Program’s Selection Committee will again choose up to three scholars. Each scholar will be awarded $15,000 and have access to prominent mentors, including Don H. Liu, Chief Legal Officer of Flutter Entertainment. The Program will also provide assistance in career planning strategies, professional and soft-skills development and networking opportunities, including identifying potential internships. To apply or for more details about the Program, please visit www.donhliuscholars.org

Application materials are due by 11:59pm (Eastern Standard Time), January 11, 2026.
