New York: A family of four from Hyderabad, including two children, lost their lives in a horrific car crash after their vehicle caught fire following a collision with a truck. The incident occurred in Green County, Texas, on Monday while the family was returning to Dallas after visiting relatives in Atlanta.

The victims have been identified as Sri Venkat, his wife Tejaswini, and their two children. They were reportedly on a road trip during a vacation when tragedy struck. According to preliminary investigations, a minitruck traveling on the wrong side of the road rammed into their vehicle head-on. The impact was so severe that their car immediately went up in flames, trapping all four inside.

Officials stated that by the time emergency services arrived, the vehicle had been reduced to ashes. The remains recovered were mostly bone fragments, which have now been sent for forensic analysis. Authorities said DNA testing would be conducted to confirm the identities before the remains are handed over to the family.
